These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our event ticketing services, including our website and related services (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

By accessing or using Uzzina, you (“Organizer”, “Buyer”, or “User”) agree to these Terms.


1. Overview

Uzzina provides an online platform that enables event organizers to create, promote, and sell tickets, while allowing buyers to discover and purchase tickets digitally.


2. Role of Uzzina

Uzzina acts as a service provider and intermediary between event organizers and ticket buyers.
We are not the event owner or manager and are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or performance of any event listed on our platform.


3. Organizer Revenue and Commission

  • Uzzina earns a base commission of 10% on every ticket sold.

  • The event organizer receives 90% of total ticket revenue.

  • Commission may be negotiated based on ticket sales volume, event size, and total revenue.

  • All negotiated terms must be confirmed in writing before ticket sales begin.


4. Payment Terms

  • Uzzina processes all ticket sales and deducts applicable commissions, Paystack fees, and service charges before remitting the organizer’s balance.

  • Paystack, our official payment partner, charges ₦100 per transaction, automatically deducted from each payment.

  • Payments to organizers are typically remitted within 24 hours–3 business days after the event or as otherwise agreed.

  • Uzzina may temporarily hold funds in cases of refunds, disputes, or fraud prevention.


5. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Refund policies are set by the event organizer and must be clearly displayed on the event page.

  • Uzzina may process refunds in cases of event cancellation, regulatory orders, or fraud.

  • Uzzina’s 10% commission and Paystack’s ₦100 charge are non-refundable, except where required by law.


6. Organizer Responsibilities

Organizers agree to:

  • Provide accurate event information.

  • Comply with all legal and safety regulations.

  • Deliver all promised services to attendees.

  • Honor refund policies and ticket validity.

  • Avoid fraudulent or misleading listings.


7. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers agree to:

  • Provide accurate payment and contact details.

  • Use tickets only for personal or authorized use.

  • Not resell tickets above face value without authorization.


8. Service Fees

Each Paystack transaction attracts a ₦100 fee, and additional service fees may apply depending on the event setup. All such fees are displayed at checkout.


9. Negotiated Partnerships

For large-scale or recurring events, Uzzina may enter into special agreements covering:

  • Custom commission rates,

  • Exclusive promotions, or

  • Tailored settlement timelines.


10. Limitation of Liability

Uzzina is not liable for:

  • Event cancellation or rescheduling,

  • Losses caused by third-party processors, or

  • Issues arising from organizer errors.
    Our total liability shall not exceed the commission retained for the event concerned.


11. Intellectual Property

All Uzzina branding, software, and content are owned by Uzzina.
Organizers grant Uzzina the right to use event titles, images, and descriptions for marketing and promotional purposes.


12. Termination

Uzzina may suspend or terminate any account found to be fraudulent, non-compliant, or in violation of these Terms.


13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates take effect upon posting on our website.

3. Payment Processing

Payments are securely handled by Paystack.
Uzzina does not store sensitive payment card details.
Each Paystack transaction attracts a ₦100 processing fee, automatically deducted from your payment.


4. Data Security

We implement encryption and secure server protocols to protect user information.
However, no online system is 100% secure, and users share data at their own risk.


5. Data Sharing

We may share information with:

  • Event organizers (for ticketing and access verification).

  • Payment processors (Paystack).

  • Law enforcement or regulatory bodies (if required by law).

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.


6. Your Rights

You may:

  • Request access or correction of your personal data.

  • Request deletion of your account.

  • Opt out of marketing emails anytime.

💳 3. Uzzina Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled for ticket purchases made through Uzzina.com.


1. Organizer-Controlled Refunds

  • Each event organizer defines their own refund and cancellation policy.

  • Buyers should review the event’s refund policy before purchase.

  • Uzzina enforces the organizer’s policy as stated during purchase.


2. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed through Paystack.

  • The refund amount (excluding Paystack’s ₦100 fee and Uzzina’s 10% commission) will be credited to the buyer’s account within 5–10 business days.

  • Paystack’s ₦100 transaction fee is non-refundable once a payment is completed.


3. Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Change of mind after purchase,

  • Late arrival or missed events,

  • Unauthorized resales or transfers, or

  • Service interruptions beyond Uzzina’s control.


4. Event Cancellations

If an event is canceled by the organizer:

  • Uzzina will coordinate refund processing as per the organizer’s instructions.

  • Refunds exclude non-refundable Paystack fees and may take up to 10 business days.


5. Dispute Resolution

For any refund disputes, users can contact support@uzzina.com.
Uzzina will investigate and mediate between the buyer and the organizer to ensure a fair outcome.
